Alejandro Frangi
Professor Alejandro (Alex) Frangi , sometimes Alejandro Frangi Caregnato, is an Argentinian engineer and scientist and a pioneered in computational medicine. He specialises in the engineering of machine learning for medical image analysis and modelling. He has published over 850 peer-reviewed articles in his field. From the University of Sheffield, UK, he was named Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in 2014 "for contributions to medical image analysis and image-based computational physiology."
