Περίληψη:The seventy-fifth anniversary of the Harvard University Graduate School of Design marks a particular temporal moment of a projective present. The works documented in this new volume of Platform represent a commitment to experimental and speculative thinking. At the same time, they remain cognizant of their relation to a long and consistent tradition of such thinking and ideas within the School and the University, which itself is celebrating a 375th anniversary. Previous editions of Platform hav helped to identify the GSD's major research and pedagogical preoccupations. In this regard, Platform 4 is no exception. Like its predecessors, this book contains a structures presentation of projects, events, lectures, conversations, and exhibitions tat are hallmarks of our dynamic intllectual condition. In this anniversary year, it is also an explicit manifestation of the School's consistent commitment to the value of the singularity of the disciplines as well as to the productive consequences of our cross-disciplinary practice - From the Preface, by Mohsen Mostafavi
