Chapter 7 introduces Modern Greek adverbials and examines prepositions, adverbs and adverbial clauses (the adverbial accusative is examined in Chapter 3). Considering that prepositions are among the most problematic fields in language learning, the largest part of the chapter is dedicated to their use. Οι επιρρηματικοί προδιορισμοί είναι μονάδες που εξαρτώνται από ένα ρήμα-κεφαλή παρέχοντας επιπλέον πληροφορίες σχετικά με αυτό. Στο Κεφάλαιο 7 παρουσιάζονται βασικές μορφικές κατηγορίες των νεοελληνικών επιρρηματικών (προθέσεις, επιρρήματα και επιρρηματικές προτάσεις).
