The fist chapter begins with the history of sampling and related techniques from 1895 till today passing through some basic and interesting historical points. <br/>Also some definitions and descriptions of basic ideas of sampling are given, like Population Sample, Sampling techniques,random variables and their operation.<br/>Also some definitions of the parameters of the random variables and their estimators are given. Some properties of the estimators are also studied. These properties are bias, unbiasedness, consistency, etc.
