Περίληψη: | The canonical ensemble is developed for thermodynamic states that are characterized by the temperature, the volume and the number of particles. The relationship between the microcanonical ensemble and the canonical one enables the transformation of the results of the first to the second. The fundamental equations and the state laws are determined in the case of monatomic and diatomic gases as well as for mixtures and chemical systems. The latter are most easily treated with the grand canonical ensemble where the number of particles is replaced by the chemical potential as state variable. |
