Περίληψη:Crowdsourcing is a type of participative online activity in which an individual proposes to a group of individuals of varying knowledge, heterogeneity, and number, the voluntary undertaking of a task. Even though the application of crowdsourcing services has been increased dramatically over the years, one traditional problem that exist is the relatively low quality of labor recieved by users. This is mainly because more and more workers - mostly from developing countries - guided through their money incentives, take on tasks that fail to carry out or poorly process them. In this dissertation, we aim to examine which characteristics of workers, and especially which skills, affect (and to what degree) the quality of work in a crowdsourcing environment.
