The interpretation of depositional sub-environments suggests channelized breccia, originated from the Pre-Apulian platform. Calciturbidites are considered as the outcome of shelf-edge break and deposited in the proximal fan. Tectonic activity determined the S - N orientation of the deposits, as ENE - WSW transfer faults intersected the NNW - SSE normal faults. Exponential distribution seems to characterize best the outcrop bed thicknesses. It is proposed that only one provenance feeding the basin with debris flow from the tectonically shaped platform. The outcrop is characterized by partially ordered or disordered facies stacking patterns and no evidence of thickness trend is proposed. Thick packages of breccia and calcarenite, frequent amalgamation surfaces, parallel and perpendicular to bedding stylolites and chert nodules as diagenetic evidence, render this formation as prone of reservoir potential in Western Greece. Η παρούσα μεταπτυχιακή διατριβή πραγματεύεται την ιζηματολογική και στατιστική προσέγγιση των ασβεστολίθων ηλικίας Ανώτερου Κρητιδικού (Σενώνιο), σε αποθέσεις μικρολατυποπαγών και τουρβιδιτικών ασβεστολίθων, τα οποία απαρτίζουν τμήμα της περιόδου διάνοιξης της Ιόνιας Λεκάνης, στο νησί της Ιθάκης, στην Δυτική Ελλάδα. Η ερμηνεία των υπο-παλαιοπεριβαλλόντων απόθεσης προτείνει καναλοειδή λατυποπαγή ώς αποτέλεσμα ροών κορημάτων από την Προ-Απούλια πλατφόρμα. Οι τουρβιδιτικοί ασβεστόλιθοι προτείνεται οτι προέρχονται από τον κατακερματισμό των περιθωρίων της πλατφόρμας. Η τεκτονική δραστηριότητα καθόρισε τον προσανατολισμό των αποθέσεων σε διευθυνση Β-Ν, και πηγάζουν από το σημειο τομής των κανονικών ρηγματων με διευθυνση ΒΒΔ-ΝΝΑ με τα ρήγματα μετασχηματιμού με διευθυνση ΑΒΑ-ΔΝΔ. Η εκθετική κατανομή παρουσιάζει την καλύτερη προσαρμογή στα δεδομένα πάχους των στρωμάτων της τομής εργασίας. Προτείνεται μόνο μία πηγή τροφοδοσίας η οποία, προσφέρει υλικό σε μορφή ροών κορημάτων, πυροδοτούμενες από τις τεκτονικά δημιουργούμενες ανθρακικές πλατφόρες. Η ακολουθία των στρωμάτων χαρακτηρίζεται από μερικώς διατεταγμένες σε ασύμμετρους κύκλους ή χωρίς διάταξη ακολουθίες, ως προς τις ακολουθίες των φάσεων. Προτείνεται οτι δεν υπάρχει κάποια ένδειξη για διάταξη στις ακολουθίες του πάχους. Πακέτα μεγάλου πάχους μικρολατυποπαγών, κλαστικών ασβεστολίθων, συχνές επιφάνειες συγχώνευσης στρωμάτων, παράλληλα και κάθετα στη στρώση στυλόλιθοι και πυριτικοί κόνδυλοι ως διαγενετικές ενδείξεις, καθιστούν τις αποθέσεις αυτές ώς πιθανούς ταμιευτήρες στην Δυτική Ελλάδα. 2020-04-29T15:12:02Z 2020-04-29T15:12:02Z 2019-09 Thesis http://hdl.handle.net/10889/13446 en 6 application/pdf |
