Περίληψη:On the present diploma thesis, the interior booming noise travelling to the body through the driveshaft is investigated. Driveshaft transmissibility is proposed as a suitable KPI for vehicle’s noise and vibrations and a simple physical model is introduced in order to describe the driveshaft’s behaviour with regards to transmissibility. Operational and static full-vehicle measurements were conducted, and the results were exported through LMS TestLab. The measurement data of two vehicles were compared with the physical model through MATLAB. The parameters of the model represented either part-related or boundary-related conditions and they were chosen according to the system’s characteristics wherever it was possible. Lastly, emphasis was given at the steps of a target cascading process regarding overall interior noise.
