SOA, or service-oriented architecture, defines a way to make software components reusable via service interfaces. These interfaces utilize common communication standards in such a way that they can be rapidly incorporated into new applications without having to perform deep integration each time. The Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), the most mature of the EAI integration concepts, enables to create very powerful platform for EAI. The products based on the ESB concept are very often used as an integration backbone in contemporary SOA (Service Oriented architecture) environments. Many of them are available under an expensive commercial license. The core products that this thesis will examine in many different dimensions are IBM WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus and Oracle Service BUS. This Thesis will examine these two products on Installation Time, Resource Capacity, Development Time and Knowledge Development. This thesis employs an interpretivist epistemology, understanding that there may be more than one acceptable answer to the question, “Which of two core SOA Products (IBM ESB vs Oracle OSB) are better for Enterprise Solutions Companies?” 2022-06-29T05:17:55Z 2022-06-29T05:17:55Z 2022-06-27 http://hdl.handle.net/10889/16312 en winrar application/pdf |
