Περιγραφή
Περίληψη:This thesis focuses on the formation of spatial adverbs, adverbial-like elements, and the expression of deixis in the dialectal variety of Pontic Greek. Drawing on material with a clear dialectal character, obtained from written sources or through oral conversations with speakers of the dialect, a comprehensive database was constructed, forming the foundation for subsequent analysis. The objectives of this thesis are twofold: (a) to elucidate the means by which local deixis is manifested by Pontic dialect speakers, offering insight into their perception of space and their orientation within it, and (b) to conduct a systematic examination of the internal structure of innovative adverbial constructions in Pontic, encompassing both morphological and semantic aspects. The dialectal material is categorized into different levels of structural complexity, analyzed into its constitutive components, and examined for recurrent patterns that contribute to its formation. Once the formation patterns of the material are clarified, the focus shifts to three specific adverbial-like elements: και, μερ, and κα, subjecting them to detailed analysis.
