Περίληψη:The process of asset declaration and management poses challenges due to bureaucracy, multiple agencies involved, and the need for ledger updates. These issues lead to concerns about privacy and security, particularly regarding access to citizen data by malicious actors. To address these challenges, a system that prioritizes privacy, security, intercommunication, access controls, logging, scalability, and user-friendliness is required. Blockchain technology, known for its use in trustless environments, emerges as a promising approach. By leveraging blockchain and smart contract technology, an asset declaration/management system can offer efficient and secure transactions, transparency, trust and improved privacy. This research aims to develop such a blockchain-based system while comparing it to the current asset management practices.
