Summary:If an art product, and the process that produces it, cannot be defined in advance, as discussions about Art claim, how would this aspect of the artistic endeavor be incorporated in a well programmed lesson on art, in which aim, method, evaluation, subject matter are fixed and well defined? The present article attempts to provide a theoretical framework that lifts the before mentioned incompatibility through reference to “subjective teaching” – a way of teaching in which the teacher, as if oblivious of his students, permits them to witness his inner workings, which he externalizes.
