| Summary: | In this paper, we propose to present a teaching approach based on an investigation process. This approach entitled teaching by Prevision, Confrontation, Discussion and Resolution (PCDR). We then had trained a novice teacher in the Inquiry-based activity and we provide through a full educational scenario for him. We have subsequently observed the teacher applying the new approach on simulation of mechanical waves in the secondary science class. The analysis of this session is part of the theory of joint action in didactics (JATD); the methodology adopted is based on analysis of the descriptors at the situations and their implementations. The descriptors are epistemic games, learning games, didactic contract and didactic setting. |
