The special significance of the work has not only been determined by the three expert reviewers from Slavic studies; The additional expert opinion from theology has also confirmed to the Slavist and theologian Holger Kuße that he worked theologically clean. Die Originalität der Dissertation ist in erster Linie darin zu sehen, daß Verfasser das Problem konjunktionaler Bedeutung "spektralisiert" hat, d.h. daß er, ausgehend von einer allgemein-systemischen Bedeutung oder Funktion, sowohl Verwendungsweisen (also spezifische, ableitbare Textbedeutungen) als auch argumentative Funktionen (also Textbedeutungen höheren Grades) nachgewiesen und analysiert hat.
