Here, experts from a wide range of academic disciplines present their views on the copy from a transcultural perspective, seeking not to define the copy uniformly, but to reveal its dynamic and transformative power. The copy and the practice of copying are thus presented as constituents of transculturality via thought-provoking contributions on topics spanning time periods from antiquity to the present, and regions from Asia to Europe. In so doing, these contributions aim to create the basis for a novel, interdisciplinary discourse on the copy and its transcultural impact throughout history. 2018-09-05 23:55 2020-02-24 09:32:17 2020-04-01T12:30:07Z 2020-04-01T12:30:07Z 2017 book 1000420 OCN: 1051782650 2365-7995/eISSN 2365-7987 9783946054146; 9783946054160; 9783946054153 http://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/29518 eng Heidelberg Studies on Transculturality application/pdf n/a 195-68-78641-1-10-20170727.pdf Heidelberg University Publishing (heiUP) 10.17885/heiup.195.260 10.17885/heiup.195.260 e783d080-4414-442b-9d7e-07b750c7b25d 9783946054146; 9783946054160; 9783946054153 414 Heidelberg open access
