Through the paradigm of stateless citizenship, Shourideh C. Molavi examines the dynamics of exclusion of Palestinian citizens and analytically frames the mechanisms through which their statelessness is maintained. With this she centres our analytical gaze on the paradox that it is through the actual provision of Israeli citizenship that Palestinians are deemed stateless. Molavi critically engages with the liberal variant of Zionist thought, and deconstructs discourse around minority rights and liberal citizenship in the context of Israel's racialized ideological and political makeup. 2018-07-31 23:55 2020-03-27 03:00:28 2020-04-01T12:33:01Z 2020-04-01T12:33:01Z 2013-01-06 book 1000350 OCN: 1076784632 9789004254060 http://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/29582 eng application/pdf n/a 1000350.pdf Brill 101501 af16fd4b-42a1-46ed-82e8-c5e880252026 b818ba9d-2dd9-4fd7-a364-7f305aef7ee9 9789004254060 Knowledge Unlatched (KU) Leiden, Boston 101501 KU Select 2017: Backlist Collection Knowledge Unlatched open access |
