The present study first provides cross-linguistic findings in regards to information structure meanings and markings. Building upon such findings, the current model represents information structure within the HPSG/MRS framework using Individual Constraints. The primary goal of the present study is to create a multilingual grammar model of information structure for the LinGO Grammar Matrix system. The present study explores the construction of a grammar library for creating customized grammar incorporating information structure and illustrates how the information structure-based model improves performance of transfer-based machine translation. 2018-01-12 23:55 2017-12-01 23:55:55 2018-12-12 10:19:03 2020-04-01T13:15:23Z 2020-04-01T13:15:23Z 2017 book 641702 OCN: 1030816809 9783944675978;9783946234647 http://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/30851 eng Topics at the Grammar-Discourse Interface application/pdf Attribution 4.0 International 641702.pdf http://langsci-press.org/catalog/book/111 Language Science Press 10.5281/zenodo.818365 10.5281/zenodo.818365 0bad921f-3055-43b9-a9f1-ea5b2d949173 9783944675978;9783946234647 1 329 open access
