In that time we have grown to meet the needs of European citizens (and beyond) by providing sustainable finance to tackle Climate change across the globe. In 2019 the EIB Group has improved its Carbon footprint and reduced emissions resulting from its internal operations. In 2019, the relative carbon footprint per employee fell by 6.0% to 5.41 tCO2e per employee. At the same time, the Group’s total net carbon footprint decreased by 4.4% to 21,434 tCO2e. This reduction is mostly driven by a decrease in business travel, commuting and data centres (Green IT). 2020-12-15T13:28:55Z 2020-12-15T13:28:55Z 2020 book 9789286146879 https://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/43431 eng application/pdf n/a external_content.pdf European Investment Bank European Investment Bank https://doi.org/10.2867/753325 https://doi.org/10.2867/753325 66479d04-7b84-49c0-9a4d-db552a3ecc71 5618e22f-fdf2-48fd-8d30-bc5f582fc09c 75fef5b5-06ca-4c77-8052-725d110a4d2f 504b97ae-0ff2-4218-83d8-3c5b1f9f6879 b818ba9d-2dd9-4fd7-a364-7f305aef7ee9 9789286146879 Knowledge Unlatched (KU) European Investment Bank Knowledge Unlatched open access
