The original books were published as two pioneering technical reports by Chinese Knowledge and Information Processing group (CKIP) at Academia Sinica in 1993 and 1996, respectively. Since then, the standard and PoS tagset proposed in the CKIP report have become the de facto standard in Chinese corpora and computational linguistics, in particular in the context of traditional Chinese texts. This new translation represents and develops the principles and theories originating from these pioneering works. The results can be applied to numerous fields; Chinese syntax and semantics, lexicography, machine translation and other language engineering bound applications. 2021-09-02T11:02:44Z 2021-09-02T11:02:44Z 2017 book 9780367598372 9781315699014 9781138949447 https://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/50539 eng Taylor & Francis Routledge 7b3c7b10-5b1e-40b3-860e-c6dd5197f0bb b3fbba8a-8c0f-446b-84e7-301293167b77 93f460f0-4c00-49e3-a703-33b76816089f 8b5098e4-438c-4d40-a8f4-644068c38709 2c05d4f9-6fd5-4229-be14-82adf1b0baf2 2cbbb011-6d4c-4f5d-bc04-0b40f7eca1cb a6e0610e-dc4d-4a97-8295-edabf82d6029 d01b514f-8df8-40ac-8e65-6743768e2892 fd0809e1-5f86-414f-a881-0a12aacce20a 88b4d5dd-e978-4ced-8606-1ffc0e04c4db 5fc87dae-8014-4a0b-b550-5eb9143f5a09 62029666-3468-4778-a78c-0abc96e1f7b3 ec0ec078-c4a4-4d00-9e91-265eb20dae69 9780367598372 9781315699014 9781138949447 Routledge open access
