The aim is to provide a more holistic understanding of the complex phenomenon of resilience from a multi-sectorial, cross-national, and multidisciplinary perspective. The book facilitates a conversation across diverse disciplinary specializations and empirical domains. The authors contribute both to theory testing and theory development and provide key empirical insights useful for societies, organizations, and individuals experiencing disruptive pressures, not least in the context of a post-COVID-19 world. Diverse chapters are held together by a clear organization of the volume across levels of analysis (resilience in organizations and societies) and by an original perspective on resilience derived from an extended review, by the editors, of the existing literature and knowledge gaps, according to which each of the individual chapter contributions is positioned and connected to. 2021-12-13T18:55:55Z 2021-12-13T18:55:55Z 2022 book ONIX_20211213_9783030820725_37 9783030820725 https://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/51963 eng Public Sector Organizations application/pdf n/a 978-3-030-82072-5.pdf https://link.springer.com/978-3-030-82072-5 Springer Nature Palgrave Macmillan 10.1007/978-3-030-82072-5 10.1007/978-3-030-82072-5 6c6992af-b843-4f46-859c-f6e9998e40d5 e986e1bf-97d2-46f6-910c-91340657ef7b 9783030820725 Palgrave Macmillan 336 Bern [grantnumber unknown] University of Agder open access
