The verbs with this suffix are used in all different contexts where the imperfective verbal aspect is required. The examples from the texts show a more frequent occurrence of the verbal forms with the suffix in dialogues, that is in passages involving oral communication contexts. Only in the later centuries the suffix will also take the particular function of expressing the “iterative mode of action” (iterativnyj sposob dejstvija). 2022-06-01T12:06:51Z 2022-06-01T12:06:51Z 2016 chapter ONIX_20220601_9788864533285_15 2612-7679 9788864533285 https://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/55832 ita Biblioteca di Studi Slavistici application/pdf Attribution 4.0 International 16862.pdf https://books.fupress.com/doi/capitoli/978-88-6453-328-5_15 Firenze University Press 10.36253/978-88-6453-328-5.15 10.36253/978-88-6453-328-5.15 bf65d21a-78e5-4ba2-983a-dbfa90962870 9788864533285 31 17 Florence open access
