Published in 2006, El viento de la luna is one of Muñoz Molina’s latest novels. Set in Mágina, a little town in the Andalusian province, in 1969, it’s the story of a boy of thirteen year old fascinated by the events of Apollo XI and its landing on the moon. His observation of the earth and the moon expresses an image of the reality made by a strange mixture of the present and the past, during the last years of Franco’s dictatorship. The inverted point of view proposed along the novel through the eyes of the boy opens a new and courageous way of seeing and perceiving events: with such a perspective, the moon looks at the earth and allows the consciousness of a new meaning and a new dimension about life. 2022-06-01T12:28:07Z 2022-06-01T12:28:07Z 2021 chapter ONIX_20220601_9788855184670_732 2704-5919 9788855184670 https://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/56548 ita Studi e saggi application/pdf Attribution 4.0 International 25001.pdf https://books.fupress.com/doi/capitoli/978-88-5518-467-0_36 Firenze University Press 10.36253/978-88-5518-467-0.36 10.36253/978-88-5518-467-0.36 bf65d21a-78e5-4ba2-983a-dbfa90962870 9788855184670 225 12 Florence open access
