The first objective of this work is to retrace how the denominations generally attributed to lexicographic and terminographic practice have been structured and lexicalized over the centuries. In the second part of this work, the paper mainly reflects on the use of the names of lexicographic resources (“dictionary”, “glossary”, “vocabulary”) in terms of terminology. This investigation objective arises from the hypothesis of a improper use of these names in different fields of application, especially when non-linguists use these names for products that claim to be of a terminological nature. 2022-06-01T12:29:06Z 2022-06-01T12:29:06Z 2021 chapter ONIX_20220601_9788855183642_768 2704-5846 9788855183642 https://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/56584 ita Proceedings e report application/pdf Attribution 4.0 International 20499.pdf https://books.fupress.com/doi/capitoli/978-88-5518-364-2_10 Firenze University Press 10.36253/978-88-5518-364-2.10 10.36253/978-88-5518-364-2.10 bf65d21a-78e5-4ba2-983a-dbfa90962870 9788855183642 129 13 Florence open access
