The study is based on interview data (n = 25) that was collected in 2018 for a study on digitalisation of eldercare. The chapter asks: what does a sense of belonging mean for care workers’ agency in a digital era? The analysis concentrates especially on the practices of belonging and how they are enacted in a digitalised work environment. The chapter proposes that in the digital era, a sense of belonging is particularly fluid and dynamic, and that it is constructed in the daily practices of work. 2022-10-12T12:46:07Z 2022-10-12T12:46:07Z 2022 chapter 9780367725570 9780367725594 https://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/58576 eng application/pdf Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International 9781003155317_10.4324_9781003155317-11.pdf Taylor & Francis Digital Transformations in Care for Older People Routledge 10.4324/9781003155317-11 10.4324/9781003155317-11 7b3c7b10-5b1e-40b3-860e-c6dd5197f0bb cf5bbf35-f017-4895-893a-b7f4c7506bd0 9780367725570 9780367725594 Routledge 18 open access
