Drawing on the multidisciplinary expertise of the network’s members, the book explores the impact of the phenomenon of post-truth politics on European integration and the European Union. It places particular emphasis on how post-truth politics has played out in the public sphere and asks what impact the phenomenon has had on public deliberation, but reflects also on its implications for democracy in a wider sense. This book is primarily written for audiences with an interest in politics and policy making, including academics, policy makers and civil-society actors. Thanks to its accessible style, the book should however also be an asset to wider audiences. 2022-11-18T14:20:43Z 2022-11-18T14:20:43Z 2023 book ONIX_20221118_9783031136948_45 9783031136948 https://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/59375 eng Palgrave Studies in European Political Sociology application/pdf n/a 978-3-031-13694-8.pdf https://link.springer.com/978-3-031-13694-8 Springer Nature Palgrave Macmillan 10.1007/978-3-031-13694-8 10.1007/978-3-031-13694-8 6c6992af-b843-4f46-859c-f6e9998e40d5 b8c142ae-0e6e-4f4c-ab37-75f121a1abf1 9783031136948 Palgrave Macmillan 259 Cham [...] open access
