It highlights the recent progress to establish various improved CESE schemes and its engineering applications. With attractive accuracy, efficiency, and robustness, the CESE method is particularly suitable for solving time-dependent nonlinear hyperbolic systems involving dynamical evolutions of waves and discontinuities. Therefore, it has been applied to a wide spectrum of problems, e.g., aerodynamics, aeroacoustics, magnetohydrodynamics, multi-material flows, and detonations. This book contains algorithm analysis, numerical examples, as well as demonstration codes. This book is intended for graduate students and researchers who are interested in the fields such as computational fluid dynamics (CFD), mechanical engineering, and numerical computation. 2023-04-13T14:05:53Z 2023-04-13T14:05:53Z 2023 book ONIX_20230413_9789819908769_64 9789819908769 9789819908752 https://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/62457 eng Engineering Applications of Computational Methods application/pdf n/a 978-981-99-0876-9.pdf https://link.springer.com/978-981-99-0876-9 Springer Nature Springer Nature Singapore 10.1007/978-981-99-0876-9 10.1007/978-981-99-0876-9 6c6992af-b843-4f46-859c-f6e9998e40d5 e5573e5d-a326-49af-a5eb-222d7e617f39 9789819908769 9789819908752 Springer Nature Singapore 13 139 Singapore [...] Hong Kong Polytechnic University Hong Kong PolyU open access
