It starts with some basic concepts of the Chinese judicial system (e.g., court system, case numbering, hierarchical trial system, etc.) and runs through the entire process and most aspects of civil litigation cases (e.g., jurisdiction, service of process, rules of evidence, enforcement, representative actions, etc.). The first target audience for this book is lawyers outside of mainland China. For professors and law students, this book also serves as a window into the Chinese judicial system in a short period of time. It is my hope that this book serves as a backdrop for additional observations of Chinese judicial practice, such as a review of recent cases. This is an open access book. 2023-07-14T15:43:50Z 2023-07-14T15:43:50Z 2023 book ONIX_20230714_9789819933426_48 9789819933426 9789819933419 https://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/63969 eng application/pdf n/a 978-981-99-3342-6.pdf https://link.springer.com/978-981-99-3342-6 Springer Nature Springer Nature Singapore 10.1007/978-981-99-3342-6 10.1007/978-981-99-3342-6 6c6992af-b843-4f46-859c-f6e9998e40d5 9789819933426 9789819933419 Springer Nature Singapore 166 Singapore open access
