She was, however, a central figure in modernist and avant-garde cultural experimentation in the early twentieth century; a prolific producer of poetry, novels, autobiography, and criticism; and an intimate and patron of such modernist artists as Gertrude Stein, Marianne Moore, and Dorothy Richardson. Bryher’s own path-breaking writing has remained largely neglected, long out of print, and inaccessible to those interested in her oeuvre. Now, for the first time since their original publication in the early 1920s, two of Bryher’s pioneering works of fictionalized autobiography, titled Development and Two Selves, are reprinted in one volume for a new audience of readers, scholars, and critics. 2023-07-27T13:57:55Z 2023-07-27T13:57:55Z 2000 book ONIX_20230727_9780299167790_30 9780299167790 9780299167745 https://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/64139 eng application/pdf application/epub+zip Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International 9780299167790.pdf 9780299167790.epub https://uwpress.wisc.edu/books/3167.htm The University of Wisconsin Press 10.3368/CIOS6955 10.3368/CIOS6955 856da1da-0efd-4b0e-8a76-721cf61477ed b5941080-3f20-4864-95c6-753acff7c9f4 9780299167790 9780299167745 Big Ten Open Books Madison [...] Big Ten Open Books Big Ten Open Books — Gender and Sexuality Studies Collection Big Ten Academic Alliance open access
