In current flood protection projects they are therefore used on the one hand in case of an extreme event to prevent the failure of existing linear protection measures, and on the other hand with the aim of compensating the increased discharge caused by the implementation of protection measures. The required discharge reduction is achieved by means of controllable inlet structures, which are usually arranged laterally from the channel in the slope area and therefore correspond to side weirs in their design and flow direction. Previous studies have shown that the complex three-dimensional flow behavior and the associated discharge coefficient of these weirs are significantly influenced by a number of geometric and hydraulic parameters. 2023-08-01T09:49:55Z 2023-08-01T09:49:55Z 2023 book https://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/74692 ger Forum Umwelttechnik und Wasserbau application/pdf n/a 10.15203-99106-093-2.pdf https://www.uibk.ac.at/iup/buecher/9783991060932.html innsbruck university press 10.15203/99106-093-2 10.15203/99106-093-2 7e4aa047-ebd5-4269-b6c8-a86925324b93 34 244 Innsbruck open access |
