This work, however, seeks to delve deeper, into the more complicated aspects of sexual consent. It examines the ways meaningful consent is difficult, if not impossible, in relationships that involve intimate partner violence or family violence. It considers the way vulnerable communities need access to information on consent. It highlights the difficulties of consent and reproductive rights, including the use (and abuse) of contraception and abortion. Finally, it considers the ways that young women are reshaping narratives of sexual assault and consent, as active agents both online and offline. Though this work considers victimisation, it also pays careful attention to the ways vulnerable groups take up their rights and understand and practice consent in meaningful ways. 2023-11-13T16:42:24Z 2023-11-13T16:42:24Z 2024 book ONIX_20231113_9783031466229_31 9783031466229 9783031466212 https://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/85079 eng Palgrave Socio-Legal Studies application/pdf n/a 978-3-031-46622-9.pdf https://link.springer.com/978-3-031-46622-9 Springer Nature Palgrave Macmillan 10.1007/978-3-031-46622-9 10.1007/978-3-031-46622-9 6c6992af-b843-4f46-859c-f6e9998e40d5 2f6264c8-1f3d-442f-966f-8aa970dedcde 9783031466229 9783031466212 Palgrave Macmillan 138 Cham [...] University of Queensland UQ open access
