It proposes theoretical and methodological approaches that highlight how ideas of change expressed in artistic and cultural practices spread and lead to wider cultural change. The book also looks at the slow processes of change in large cultural institutions that emerged at a time when culture was nationalised. It explains how individual and group activities can have an impact beyond their immediate surroundings. Finally, the book discusses how migration researchers have cooperated with arts and cultural producers and used artistic means to increase the effect of their research in the wider public. As such, the book provides a great resource for graduate students and researchers in the social sciences and the humanities who have an interest in migration studies and want to move beyond interpreting the world towards changing it. 2023-12-13T10:36:12Z 2023-12-13T10:36:12Z 2024 book ONIX_20231213_9783031399008_15 9783031399008 9783031398995 https://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/86114 eng IMISCOE Research Series application/pdf n/a 978-3-031-39900-8.pdf https://link.springer.com/978-3-031-39900-8 Springer Nature Springer International Publishing 10.1007/978-3-031-39900-8 10.1007/978-3-031-39900-8 6c6992af-b843-4f46-859c-f6e9998e40d5 b2458849-cba8-408a-ac7a-599a42f7a7a8 9783031399008 9783031398995 Springer International Publishing 258 Cham [...] open access
