A detailed reconstruction provides insight into how opera performances were organised, from the initial search for funding, through the choice of repertoires, up to the closing of contracts with artists. Diese Studie bietet einen Einblick in das dichte Beziehungsgeflecht zwischen Impresarios, Theaterleitern, Sängern, Musikern und Verlegern in dem multikulturellen Gebiet der Theater an der östlichen Adria in der Zeit zwischen 1861 und 1918.
