Περίληψη:On some aspects of Sasha Filipenko’s and Viktor Martinovich’s prose reception in Western and Central Europe. Sasha Filipenko and Viktor Martinovich can be seen as the faces of Belarusian literature in Europe, but they both occupy a specific and ambiguous place in the Belarusian literary process. The article will discuss the way the Western and Central European media represent the writers themselves, the nomination strategies, the political dimension of their representations and the way these representations correlate with authors’ self-representation. It will then discuss the literary qualities of their books which are highlighted by reviewers in relevant media.
