Carlos Castillo-Chavez

Castillo-Chavez was a Regents Professor and Joaquín Bustoz Jr. Professor of Mathematical Biology Carlos Castillo-Chavez (born March 29, 1952) is a Mexican-American mathematician. Castillo-Chavez was a Regents Professor and Joaquín Bustoz Jr. Professor of Mathematical Biology at Arizona State University. Castillo-Chavez is known for founding the Mathematical and Theoretical Biology Institute (MTBI) at Cornell University in 1996.
