Description
Summary:This diploma thesis investigates the possibility of real time of a robotic arm with EMG signal. The signal comes from the user performing static hand gestures. The signal is obtained with a custom built analog circuit that amplifies and filters it. Then the signal is sampled with a microprocessor. After proper processing data sets are created for pattern recognition. A Support Vector Μachine is trained to recognize the gestures. Based on the gesture a corresponding command is sent to a robotic arm.
